Conference Speakers

Andrew Gallo
Director of Reliability Compliance | Austin Energy
He leads AE’s Reliability Compliance Office (RCO). The RCO consists of compliance professionals assisting AE staff to comply with the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Reliability Standards and Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) Protocols and Operating Guides. He has led AE through four NERC audits (by the Texas Regional Entity or Texas RE) covering all its registered functions (including Critical Infrastructure Protection). He served as Vice President of Compliance for Calpine Corporation in Houston, Texas. Prior to Calpine, he served as Chief Compliance Officer for Seattle City Light (SCL) in Seattle, Washington where he created the company’s first Compliance Office.
