Conference Speakers

Edward “Ted” Borer
Plant Manager for Princeton University
He has over 30 years of experience in the power industry, is a registered PE, and holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering as well as the CEM, CEP, and LEEDAP certifications. He takes leadership roles in the International District Energy Association and New Jersey Higher Education Partnership for Sustainability. He is a founding member of the Microgrid Resources Coalition. He speaks regularly on energy topics, and has given briefings for the US Senate and all active FERC Commissioners. He has published articles in trade magazines and peer-reviewed journals as well as a book chapter on CHP.
