LIVE Virtual Training - GRC – A Corporate Discipline
GRC is a buzzword that many use, but what does it really mean? What is ‘effective GRC’ and why should it matter to the leader of the organization?
It is generally agreed that GRC stands for governance, risk management, and compliance. But why should we marry those three areas into one that is represented by this acronym? Is there more to GRC than the sum of these three parts?
Some organizations have established GRC departments, but they tend to focus on enterprise risk management, policies, standards, and procedures. Compliance is more often than not a separate function, as is internal audit – although a growing number of internal auditors now describe themselves as GRC professionals.
What makes sense? Why should we talk about GRC and why does it matter?
The GRC Master Class is designed for managers with responsibility for internal audit, risk management, compliance, ethics, and more. It is called a ‘master class’ because it is styled like a post-graduate workshop with dialogue among the participants strongly encouraged.
By attending this three day, each of three hours, class you will discuss a definition for GRC that has a business-practical meaning and why it is crucial for ‘GRC’ to be effective. There will also be a discussion of leading practices for risk management and internal audit.
Each attendee will receive a copy of How Good is your GRC? Twelve Questions to Guide Executives, Boards, and Practitioners.
This trainer-led, live virtual session will be offered in a 3x3 format (3 hours of e-learning over 3 days [two 90-minute sessions/per day] for a total of 9 hours.
